Everything about this sweater is pure perfection. From the incredibly soft, yet not itchy wool, to the way the high neck flops in the ideal position under my chin, to the uneven hemline which provides an amazing flap protector for your bottom. This feature I know will come in handy if we experience another polar vortex like we did last winter, and something tells me we will. Cheers to pre-planning! I also love that although the wool is thick, it's not bulky and therefore makes it perfect for layering, as I did here with my American Eagle denim jacket. I can also fit it under my Topshop leather jacket and it will pair perfectly with my Wilfred wool coat this winter. Aaaaahhh the excitement over the endless possibilities this sweater holds is just too much! I must also declare that I am a lover of all things FALL and this sweater just embodies autumn in a way that none of my other sweaters do. This last feature is probably the most dangerous because it means I will have to return to Aritzia (or even Zara because I mean who are we kidding this and this are to die for) in order to grow my collection of turtlenecks. Given that it is reading week, in the heart of the autumn season, and that the forest near my house is currently burgeoning with an immense variation of vibrant fall colours I thought it would be a good idea to run around in the brisk cool air, in the dirt and mud, in my brand new white turtleneck. Here are the photos we captured. Enjoy!
