SO! Feast your eyes below at The Fourth Collection by Bread & Circus, and be prepared to never look at other jewellery the same way again...or for that matter, at all.
If any of you reading this personally know me, or read this blog on a fairly regular basis you know by now that my obsession with dainty, feminine & minimalist jewellery is borderline unhealthy. But that's okay because not everything we do in life is healthy...we gotta keep things interesting from time to time. What you may not know though, is my deep, unrequited love for BREAD & CIRCUS. I've mentioned them once before on this little blog here, when I first discovered them in the spring at a fashion marketplace event called INLAND (check them out too). The jewellery, everything from rings, earrings, necklaces, chains and chokers are just absolutely heavenly. The balance between refined and rustic metalwork is enough to make one never turn back to cheap trendy jewellery brands, no matter how inexpensive. I honestly do not even know how to describe to you all in words the feelings I feel when I look at the images from B&C's latest lookbook, and then again the feelings I feel when I look at the price tags...Yes a bit pricey I will admit! But all B&C jewellery is crafted and designed by hand, the designer is Toronto based and doesn't outsource (hooray for home grown talent), and prides herself on using real, high quality metals. None of that shit that turns your skin green thank god. Oh and by the way her friends are super awesome, which I also had the pleasure of meeting at this past season's INLAND when I bought my first of many B&C pieces... Three rings was enough damage for one day. SO! Feast your eyes below at The Fourth Collection by Bread & Circus, and be prepared to never look at other jewellery the same way again...or for that matter, at all. All images were found on BREAD & CIRCUS's website while perusing their 20% off sale WHICH ENDS TONIGHT! So ummm hop on that.....you're welcome.

One of the most glamorous details about working in fashion are the shows and presentations that are around the corner pre every season. As an outsider looking in we really only see the beautiful photographs and read the eloquent (sometimes) expose's after the shows have commenced. With the likes of Instagram and Snapchat, nowadays we also get to see of the moment snap shots of looks literally as the walk down the runway. But for me, there is nothing better than having a crisp, brightly lit and beautifully coloured photograph to encapsulate a show or presentation by a designer, even if it takes a few days or week for those images to hit my desktop; because I'm patient like that. But I also feel that a designers work is so arduous and taxing, creatively inspiring and enlightening, that it is a shame to degrade the creations they've mastered with an il-lit photograph or a blurred and fuzzy Snapchat. But that's just me. So this week (aka today) when I discovered the brand Whit, NYC label and child of Whitney Pozgay, a whole week after her presentation for Resort 2016 debuted at the Gramercy hotel in New York, you can imagine my pleasure when I finally saw for my own eyes what everyone else has been lusting over. So to keep things short let me just say: the clothes. the vibe. the prints. I want it all! This venue though!!! The rooftop patio of the Gramercy Hotel in NYC. Currently obsessed with all things white this summer, and clearly I'm not alone either. There is just something so clean and sophisticated, yet relaxed and cool, about the monochromatic colour combo and especially when that colour also happens to be linen, you really can't get anything better. So here is a little collage I put together using Photoshop CS6. I combined various photos I have found over the past week or so that I feel perfectly style the cool summer hue.
These lovely images can either be found on my Pinterest or on WhoWhatWear. Being of half Scottish heritage I love nothing more than finding amazing fashion brands, or basically just anything amazing that originates from my family's homeland. Although I have never been to the beautiful celtic country I still have a subconscious sense of pride about the country and it's people. I hope to one day visit Scotland to see what my ancestors left behind when they began their voyage to the Great White North, but in the meantime I have the Internet...and Strathberry. This amazing Scottish handbag company is a new discovery (and my new I mean like it was mere days ago that I found out they existed) and I honestly don't know what I was doing with my life before this point. The construction, quality and stye of these handbags are every fashion girls dream come true....and at a price tag so tantalizing it's hard to not jump online and buy multiples in one sitting. Gorgeous, hand crafted leather handbags as their specialty, Strathberry of Scotland is a fairly fresh face on the fashion scene (wow enough F's do you think?) but my oh my are they going to make waves. Created in small batches, Strathberry's number one priority is quality and craftsmanship. No mass manufacturing here folks, which is also a new concept in today's modern fashion world where to be big you have to be big (i.e. multiple factories, mass production and plants all over the world). What turns my crank about these bags is the incredible lines and attention to detail. Every bag is perfectly constructed, in the best quality leather, in the most amazing colours. The signature gold bar across the top of every bag lends an air of consistency, like a signature, and in my mind I have a feeling it will be this little gold bar will be for Strathberry what the Double C is for Chanel or the LV for Louis Vuitton. So take a look below, because by golly if there is one bag I will be sporting this summer (or more like saving for) it will without a doubt be Strathberry of Scotland. *All images found via HonestlyWTF...cuz that's new... ;P
As if we needed any more temptation to run away to a tropical resort, Dior debuts their essential summer style for Resort 2016. Death by love is totally a possibility... *All images are from Vogue & Dior but found via HonestlyWTF.
More swimsuits for your viewing pleasure as I clearly cannot get enough. I am also so unbelievably ready to hit the beach and these amazing suits by made by dawn :) are in my opinion the perfect balance of breezy, bohemian cool while being skimpy enough to not produce grotesque tan lines and substantial enough that I can probably play a good game or two of beach volleyball. Finding this website has probably changed my swimwear game forever because I am not normally one to support big bring colours, prints or anything super athletic looking. I don't go to the beach to workout, I go to lounge with friends, get a good dose of vitamin D and ultimately look nice while doing so. Now that I have found a brand that very much delivers on the beachy cool girl vibe I've been coveting as of late, the only way I will be able to justify all these new suits, is by taking more trips to the shoreline...which I have no issues with whatsoever. *All images found via made by Dawn :)
There really is nothing better than spending every waking summer adventure frolicking in light, breezy sundresses. I would never really peg myself as a girly girl, but there is something about summer that makes me more drawn to soft, feminine, ethereal pieces more than any other season. Enter Tavin, a boutique based in Los Angeles (shocker!) that reworks vintage garments with more modern, flattering fits. With a vibe and lineup of summer staples like this, it is going to be very hard for me to resist not taking every supremely romantic, summery frock they've got. *All images found via HonestlyWTF.
There are many things that peak my interest during the summer months. Walks outdoors, picking flowers, going to the farmers market, sun tanning on the beach with friends and just naturally being as close to nature as possible. Something happens to me during the winter season where although I love being out frolicking in the snow and taking in the winter wonders, I still love being cozy and holed up indoors. Summer abolishes that in an instant. So today, I am adding to the list of things I think should naturally occur during the hot summer season: moving to the desert. I never really considered it before but as of late the desert (landscape and vibe) has totally started to grow on me. From endless Instagram posts about Joshua Tree in California (which I honestly didn't know existed until just recently), to today's discovery of Mango's Premium Summer Lookbook I am now obsessed with everything desert in nature. I mean I even just recently bought my first succulents to add to what will soon become a rapidly growing cactus collection. So I think it's safe to say that the summer vibe (and everything that comes along with it) has officially made it's way into every part of my living being at this point in time and I am so not mad about it. For those of you that know me well, if I disappear in the next little while, contact a desert near you....or don't :P. *All images are from the MANGO website but were found via WhoWhatWear on Bloglovin'
I feel like I need to find other things to talk about on here other than my unwavering excitement for summer and days upon days spent lounging at the beach, but it seems like every other day another brand I love releases their most perfect collection of summer images and I hernia all over again! So today is another one of those days, and this time it is one of the biggest loves of my life that stepped up to the plate. Club Monaco. Oh yah baby they have just released their 2015 Summer Beach Report and I can tell you right now I have never loved scalloped edges more! I've also never bee so ready to jump in my roofless jeep, strap on my surfboard and hit the sand. Club Monaco has forever been one of my favourite brands. I've recently been asked if I was to live my life in one brand for the rest of time what it would be, and Club Monaco was the first that jumped into my mind. After seeing today's beach ready attire I have no doubt they would be the brand to truly and exquisitely dress me for every occasion. That being said, take a look for yourself and be prepared to want to hit the beach! I officially need this bathing suit in my life... *All images found via HonestlyWTF and Club Monaco in "In the Swim" & "Place Nationale" sections.
As I write this I am also drowning in paper as I prep for my last two exams. Eeeekkk I can't believe this time Thursday I will officially be done my first year of university! My oh my how the time has flown. I could not be more happy with how my first year of school has gone. I've made so many amazing friends and memories, I've learned so so much and I have even greater plans for the year to come. Considering my last few posts have been fairly text heavy I thought today I would keep it light. And let me tell you, I don't think it could get any lighter (or cooler) than the new capsule collection launched between the amazingly feminine European label & Other Stories and VANS. I mean hello girly ethereal design mixed with the sneaker company to end all sneaker companies??!! Make something heavenly why don't you... Given the rad Dalmatian print, chic as can be sunglasses, and not to mention their use of a super cool 86 year old model, I think you'll be able to see in the images that follow why I am so stoked to add these chic sneaks to my summer wardrobe... I mean seriously I hope I am this cool when I'm in my eighties. Happy Tuesday! All images found on the & Other Stories website via HonestlyWTF
